For someone living with dementia, home is full of comfort: a favourite chair, the garden, the radio programme they always listen to. Staying in familiar surroundings can help people feel calmer and more settled.
We specialise in dementia care at home. Our carers visit people in their own homes and get to know them well, so each day feels as familiar as possible.
We take time to understand how each person communicates best. CQC inspectors noted that people with cognitive impairments were "supported patiently and given time to express their thoughts."
Dementia care is one of our specialisms, and all of our staff are well trained in supporting people living with dementia.
Caring for someone with dementia can feel like a lot to carry. We keep families informed, and relatives can stay up to date through our digital care records. Our manager is always happy to talk things through, and our office team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies and client calls.
We start with a free assessment in the person's home, with family there if they wish. We learn about their history, routines, likes and worries, and build a care plan around them. Visits last at least one hour, so there is time for care without hurry. As needs change, we review the plan together.
Regular visits can also include companionship and social visits or help with shopping and errands.
We'll never send a stranger to your door. Any new carer is introduced to you by a carer you already know before they start visiting on their own.
We are based in Billingborough and visit the villages around Sleaford, Billingborough, Heckington, Donington and Gosberton. Visit our Areas We Cover page for the full list.

No. We'll never send a stranger to your door. Any new carer is introduced to you by a carer you already know before they start visiting on their own.
This is very common. Our assessment is a friendly conversation, not a test. We listen to the person and to the family, and we look for ways to help that protect their independence.
We aim to keep a small, regular team, because familiar faces matter so much in dementia care. You also get a fortnightly rota showing who is coming.
We review care plans and adjust visits as things change. We also work with GPs, nurses and other professionals to make sure the person gets the right help.
